COMMENT: Funding PTSD programme could end up saving money

Have your say

It’s always good in these times of austerity to see public money being spent wisely – not.

None more so than the £118,000 spent by the Economic and Social Research Council on a survey.

This ‘revealed’ parents don’t like the idea of strip clubs outside schools.

Well, you’d never have guessed that one. They could have paid me £10 and I’d have given them the same answer.

This is yet another of those ‘stating the flamin’ obvious’ surveys that seem to get commissioned.

And another thing. Apparently it took the University of Kent’s School of Social Policy a whole year to come up with these findings.

Why so long? No wonder businesses claim that today’s graduates aren’t up to scratch.
