You’ll never listen to pop in quite the same way again

COMMENT: All agencies must to held to account for Anne Savidge’s tragic death

Have your say

So I went to see Frisky and Mannish last week in Winchester. What an ace cabaret act they are – combining music genres and a fast-paced, hilarity-filled rollercoaster of entertainment.

Lily Allen singing Noel Coward and vice versa, the ‘truth’ behind Alanis Morrisette’s lyrics (when F & M sang them, it was obvious to one and all) and my favourite – the grammar correction of lazy lyrics through the past few years.

It was joyful, but the bad news is they’re not appearing on the south coast any time soon. If you want to enjoy the delights, you’ll need to head up to London. But it’s worth it, especially for the slowed-down, operatic-style version of Whigfield’s Saturday Night.

You’ll never listen to pop in the same way ever again.
