Child refugees: more cash is needed from the government

COMMENT: Government needs to dig deep to find extra cash

Have your say

We keep looking over and over at the weather forecast for Malaga in Spain.

Yep, we’re on our hols again, just a week away for some late summer sun.

Now I’m dead excited about it, but my wife Sarah isn’t.Maybe it’s something to do with the 2,600 road miles we have to travel because I don’t like flying.

But what she won’t be expecting is two very romantic stopovers planned in Biarritz on the way out and Bordeaux on the way back.

You miss all this when you’re herded into an aluminium tube.

Yes I know it’s only a two-and-a-half-hour flight, but trust me, the flat plains of Spain are breathtaking. You won’t see them at 35,000 feet.
