I’ve been all over the place this week – literally.
Filming for my YouTube series has taken me from Portsmouth to London, to Hertfordshire, even to Somerset – which, by the way, was beautiful.
When I watched these guys and what they get up to, I decided to err on the side of caution when it came to something we could do together
Have you been? Mum said we went as children, but I don’t remember.
I went to Weston-Super-Mare to meet Barry Lewis, who is the cook on the My Virgin Kitchen YouTube channel, and we had a blast.
It was such a fun day and we just clicked on camera. You either do or you don’t and Barry and I – or Barrington as I called him by the end of the day – had a great time.
Because he’s a cook I decided to take some ingredients with me to make raw brownies, which in my opinion taste so much nicer than they sound.
But if you ask Barry, he might give you a different answer.
They took twice as long to make as they should have done and as we did the big reveal – i.e the tasting – he took one bite and then attempted to smile for the camera.
Clearly my Chezza’s Chocolate, Coconut and Cranberry Amazeballs did nothing for him.
As well as gallivanting around the country, I also went to Southampton to meet the lads from YouTube channel Where’s My Challenge?
There’s only one way to describe these guys and that’s ‘nuts’.
They’re a bunch of friends who have grown their channel organically over the course of about five years.
They’re all super down-to-earth and with more than 300,000 subscribers to their channel, they’re doing pretty well.
I’m up for doing a lot of things – adventures, challenges, dares, you name it.
I’m pretty game, but when I watched these guys and what they get up to, I decided to err on the side of caution when it came to something we could do together.
We ended up playing a simple trivia game on the phone and they couldn’t quite believe how terrible I was.
Very funny and such a nice group of guys – even if they are from Southampton!
Ha ha, only joking.
