OVERNIGHT closures on a main road will continue for the next few weeks.

Bridge refurbishments and barrier replacement works will see the A27 westbound carriageway closed between junction 12 for Portsmouth and the Farlington slip road.

The road closures will be in place between 10pm and 6am Monday to Friday until Friday, March 16.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the Eastern Road, Havant Road, Southampton Road and the M27 junction 12 link.

The works to replace old sections of the safety barrier and refurbish the bridge at the Paulsgrove Interchange will also see narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit on both carriageways of the M27 and A27 between Farlington and Port Solent until April.
