Pair treated for smoke inhalation after Gosport fire

A 58-year-old woman and 43-year-old man were treated after the fire at Cavanna Close, in Gosport.

Firefighters from Fareham were called at about 5.10pm yesterday to the garage, which is attached to a house.

South Central Ambulance Service said it was called at 5.21pm and that the two patients were treated at the scene, not taken to hospital.

Firefighters returned to the station at about 6.30pm after the blaze. The cause is not known.
