That is the message from Champs Academy, which has set up a series of sessions in Gosport, to help young people with their self-esteem.

The group is being run by Claire Green, who believes that self-confidence is the key to students being successful.

Claire said: ‘The service will help young people to deal with self-esteem, anxiety and other confidence issues that have sadly become far too common.

‘We will teach the youngsters how to control their breathing and give them advice on how to become more confident in themselves.

‘Having something like this available to young people is incredibly important – young people these days can be really hard on themselves so a service like this can help to get them back on their feet.’

The service is run at the Gosport Leisure Centre in Forest Way every Saturday afternoon.
