Agreement will keep the navy as the '˜best in the business'
BRITAIN'S Royal Navy will remain the '˜best in the business' thanks to a new £109m defence contract, says a city MP.
Flick Drummond, Portsmouth South MP, has welcomed the new deal with QinetiQ. She said: ‘QinetiQ is behind a lot of the technology which makes our Royal Navy the best in the business, so this is a real investment in our national security.
‘They have been a key part of our high technology sector for a long time, and I hope we can recruit more businesses to come to Portsmouth and take advantage of the great skills our people have.’
