Taylor Wimpey is one of the largest residential developers in the UK, developing new homes and communities across the country and builds over 13,500 homes each year.

Sarah Pasco, managing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: ‘Joe’s conscientious approach to both his work and studies singled him out and has quickly made him a valued member.

‘We’re all incredibly proud of the progress he has made.

‘A huge congratulations and thanks to Joe and all our apprentices for their passion and continued hard work demonstrated throughout the programme.’

Steve O’Rourke, lecturer at Fareham College, said: ‘Joe is one of the most focused apprentices I’ve met and it’s been our fortune to teach him.

‘What makes him special is that he is not afraid to make mistakes in order to master the skills required.

‘His NVQ portfolio is an example to all students of what hard work can achieve.’
