GORGEOUS weather made a charity walk a great day out for more than 30 people.
The Mayoress of Havant, Elaine Shimbart, joined worshippers from Havant’s Hindu temple in a 10km walk along the Hayling Billy Trail.
The event raised more than £2,000 for charity, including international aid charity Baps, disabled children’s charity Kids, and Hampshire-based charity Smile Care and Support.
Praful Thacker, 69, from Farlington, helped to organise the event.
He said: ‘We take this route every year and it’s good because it’s safe for the children.
‘We are a small local Hindu temple and we do a lot of charity work to support local and national charities.’
