NOSTALGIA and celebration will the order of the day as a charity marks its 50th birthday.

The Portsmouth area branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust has organised a vintage tea party on Sunday to mark the occasion.

Families and friends from across the south will come together to enjoy a midsummer’s afternoon in the glorious surroundings of the Tithe Barn, at Ditcham, near Petersfield.

There will be a chance to look at vintage cars, browse stalls and enjoy the entertainment.

Singer Becki Short will sing vintage songs and other performers include the Nightingales, and up-and-coming annaJo, with her new song, ‘Breathe With Me’.

Sue Kruk, branch secretary, from Hayling Island, said it will be a great opportunity for old and new supporters to meet.

‘There are also some wonderful prizes to take home,’ she added.

The event takes place from 2pm to 5pm. For tickets see
