THE Tall Ships Youth Trust is holding a black tie dinner to celebrate its 100,000th trainee and the launch of a new fellowship.

The dinner will take place on board HMS Warrior at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards the cost of running the trust’s vessels.

The money will also go towards providing bursaries to young disadvantaged and disabled people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to enjoy a sailing experience.

The dinner takes place on February 8, and the guest speaker is Sir Chay Blyth,
a Scottish yachtsman and rower.
