Children at Langstone Infant School got into the Blue Day spirit by swapping their usual green school uniform for blue Pompey tops.

Pupils and staff donated money to the Tom Prince Cancer Trust in order to wear their blue clothes to school. More than 300 children attend Langstone Infants School, meaning the school could raise more than £300 by the end of the day.

Megan Carter, deputy head teacher, said: ‘The children really enjoy supporting local charities and have all made a great effort.’
