A GROUP of musicians will be raising money for Portsmouth’s food bank tomorrow with a busking festival.

Southsea Sunday will see singers, musicians and poets busking and showing off their talent at four different venues.

They will be performing at Southsea Coffee and outside Subway in Palmerston Road, and outside the Kings Theatre and Wine Vaults, both in Albert Road

John Sackett, the organiser of the Southsea Sunday, said: ’We only started organising this event four weeks ago with performers and the public telling us it was a good idea for an event like this to happen just before Christmas.

‘Venues have been supportive and the response has been great.’

Buskers have been asked to donate part of their collection towards the Portsmouth Food Bank. Music will be performed by various artists around the venues between 11am and 5.30pm.
