Car crash slows traffic on A3 in Waterlooville

POLICE slowed traffic on a main road through Waterlooville after a two-car collision.

A grey Smart car entering London Road from Mill Road collided with a blue Volkswagon Golf at 11.30am.

An ambulance crew and police attended, with an officer reporting that ‘everyone is up and walking about.’

She said: ‘It was just the two cars involved in the incident.’

Police put up a sign to slow traffic manoeuvring past the incident on the 40mph road.

The driver of the Golf said: ‘The other driver came out of the side of the road.

‘It happened very fast.’

The road stayed open.
