Cat dies after '˜men set three dogs on it' in Havant

RSPCA inspector Tina Ward said: '˜We've discovered that he's called Berwyn Hards.

'˜His tag had come off but there was a phone number on the inside as well as his name.

'˜The number is impossible to read unfortunately so we've put posters up but as yet haven't been able to track down his owner.

'˜He's a lovely cat but unfortunately he was not in a good condition. He was so overweight when he first arrived that he really struggled to walk.

'˜He also has a wonky left eye making him quite distinctive.

'˜He's being cared for by the team at Stubbington Ark as initially he was unable to use the litter tray as his back legs are in very poor condition probably because of the weight.

'˜He had clearly been someone's pet so I would appeal to anyone who knows anything to get in touch.'
