CUBS and Scouts have raised more than £1,000 in aid of a foundation that helps street children in Sierra Leone.

The group, from 1st Locks Heath Scout Group, spent the day packing bags on Saturday, November 23 in the Locks Heath Co-op, for the St George Foundation.

Scout leader Jon Whitford said: ‘We raised a brilliant total of £1,061.54 and would like to thank all the shoppers and the staff at the Co-op.’
