THOUSANDS of pounds was raised for The Rainbow Centre at a charity ball.
Hollybank House in Emsworth held a ball organised by a group of event management students from Chichester.
The team were organising the event for their final-year project and chose the Rainbow Centre, raising more than £3,000.
Solo artist Soul Diva played music throughout the evening and then sang to a full dance floor.
Clare Acklam, fundraising manager for the charity, said: ‘When I first met the students they were a bunch of individuals trying to put on a ball with totally mixed ideas.
‘Just prior to the event I found myself sat in front of a team, putting on a large event and I felt lucky.
‘Thank you to everybody who came or supported us in any way including staff at Chichester University. A good time was had by all.’
