COULD you tackle a gentle giant for charity?

That’s exactly what AGSD-UK is asking cyclists to do.

The charity raises money for research and provides support to sufferers of glycogen storage disease, a condition which means the body can not form or release glucose properly.

For some people it can lead to heart, liver or kidney failure.

The Gentle South Downs Giant, on September 2, is a challenging cycle ride through Hampshire and West Sussex, taking in the picturesque countryside of the National Park.

There are three routes to choose from – 104, 74 or 44 miles and they all finish at Goodwood racecourse.

To take part go to agsd.org.uk or call 0300 123 2790.
