A TEAM of walkers who are undertaking the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge are throwing a family fun day at their local pub.

Former Pompey goalkeeper Alan Knight and Pompey mascots will be at Saturday’s event at The Fox and Hounds, in Stakes Hill Road, Waterlooville.

It begins at 2pm and there will be live music, karaoke and a raffle.

The walkers conquered Mount Snowdon last weekend, in a practice run ahead of the Three Peaks next weekend.

They are raising money for Naomi House hospice and Jacksplace. To donate go to
