STAFF and volunteers at a Havant charity shop are urging animal lovers to have a pre-Christmas clear-out to help sick and injured pets.

The PDSA charity shop in West Street is in need of ladies and mens clothing, as well as linens, bric-a-brac and books.

Donations can be taken to the shop from Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.

Shop manager Carol Brailey said: ‘Is your wardrobe bulging with unworn clothes or your shelves full of books you never read? ‘Why not have a clear-out this weekend and donate your unwanted items to PDSA?’

All funds will help sick and injured pets.
