BUSINESSES invited to a thank you Christmas party were surprised when they were treated to a flower arranging session.

Each year The Brookfield Hotel, in Emsworth, throws a party for companies who regularly use the hotel for business conferences and corporate lunches and dinners.

This year they treated guests to a master class in Christmas wreath making given by Horndean’s Nursery Fresh Flowers.

While sipping mulled wine and eating mince pies, party-goers created some superb wreaths which they were then able to take home.

The demonstration was given by Rebecca Warwick, Nursery Fresh managing director Sally Waddington, and company secretary Claire Wadsworth. They were on hand to give advice to the participants.

Jamie Drew, event manager of the hotel, was delighted with the response from his clients.

He said: ‘This is a great way to say thank you and much more interesting and personal than a box of chocolates.’
