City MP under fire over UK's action in Ukraine
During a question-and-answer session at the Commons, the Portsmouth North MP announced the UK would be donating 3,500 first-aid kits to the country’s beleaguered armed forces at a cost of £478,800.
But Barry Sheerman, Labour MP for Huddersfield argued if the UK was ‘serious about supporting Ukraine’ it should ‘surely be doing much more visible work’.

‘We stand ready to assist them further and I will be visiting the country shortly.’
