Coastguard launch search after discovery of abandoned clothing
THE COASTAL rescue service have been searching for a person in the water after clothing was discovered close to the sea.
The coastguard were alerted at 7.59pm after Hardway Sailing Club discovered the items of clothing.
After a thorough search by Portsea Rescue and Hillhead Coastal Rescue there was no evidence of anyone in the water.
