AN ANNUAL conker competition is returning to a woodland park.

The Friends of Holly Hill’s annual conker championship is set to take place on Saturday, October 19, at Holly Hill Woodland Park.

All ages can take part and the champion will win a coveted trophy.

The event starts at 2pm – meet at Holly Hill main car park, off Barnes Lane, Sarisbury Green. Entry costs 50p.

Member for leisure Cllr Connie Hockley said: ‘This is will be a lovely way to spend some time with family and friends at the woodland park this autumn.’
