DOG-LOVERS are being asked to step forward to act as foster familes for German Shepherd dogs.
German Shepherd Rescue South is a registered charity based in Portchester.
But recently, as reported in The News, volunteers have found themselves unable to cope with an increasing numbers of dogs.
Carole Middleton, trustee of the charity, said: ‘We’re still desperate for foster homes.
‘We’ve rehomed some of the dogs. But we have managed to put up a lot more dogs now, it’s neverending.’
At the moment the charity has eight dogs in the kennels.
Carole is looking for families to foster the dogs until they can find a permanent home.
She added: ‘They are good and very loyal to their families.’
