LETTER OF THE DAY: Nightmare scenario for our city

Have your say

A CHURCH is urging people to contact them if they are feeling desperate about poor finances.

Kings Church, Portsmouth, is using World Suicide Prevention Day next Thursday to remind people that however bad debt problems look, there is always hope and a solution.

Trained members of the church run a Christians Against Poverty Debt Help Centre to give a free service to people.

They work out the best route out of debt and devise a budget for every client which is again explained face-to-face.
