HARD working dad Jason Seales is the latest fan to win a pair of tickets to see Pompey play at Fratton Park.

The 47-year-old was nominated by his partner of 30 years Sarah Boud.

The couple have been through some tough times together and in recent years, he has juggled working with caring for his partner, who is now disabled.

Sarah, 47, said: ‘He has been a marvellous carer, house keeper, barn conversion builder and father.

‘He is very placid and selfless so has never been able to spare the time or money except when our son was young when his mother paid for him to take our son to his one and only Pompey game, who also has been an avid and loyal supporter.’

Jason, who lives on the Isle of Wight, will take his 19-year-old son Levi to the game against Wycombe Wanderers today.

He said: ‘It’s amazing. I haven’t been to see Pompey since we were in the Premiership.

‘I used to go to the home games and quite a few away games.

‘But it’s a bit of a struggle to get there now.

‘This will be brilliant.’

The Pompey tickets scheme runs in partnership with The News and Pompey.

A pair of tickets are up for grabs for every home game to a supporter who has done something worthwhile or who has struggled to get to games for financial reasons.
