A DISCO will help raise money for a charity.

AMF Bowling, Retail Park, Portsdown Hill Road, Havant, is holding a disco tomorrow, to help raise money for Oakley’s Walking Fund.

The fund was set up by the parents of three-year-old Oakley Smith, who has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy.

They want to raise £58,000 to send Oakley to America where he can have surgery to help him walk unaided.

The disco, which is running from 5pm till midnight, will have a magician, stalls for children to make their own masks and an Easter egg hunt.

Shanice Honess, an employee who is organising the event, said: ‘We wanted to help raise some money for Oakley’s Walking Fund because he is a local boy who needs people to dig deep in their pockets.

‘I read an article on him and his family in the paper and have been wanting to help since.

‘We thought of doing a disco because it’s fun for everyone and ties in
nicely with the start of the Easter holidays.’

Tickets cost £5 and can be bought on the door.
