A DONKEY from a rescue centre will lead a Palm Sunday procession.

The 38-year-old animal named Charlie normally lives at a rescue centre in Catherington.

He will lead the parade from the statue of Admiral Lord Nelson on Grand Parade in Old Portsmouth to Portsmouth Cathedral leaving at 10.30am tomorrow.

Another family service takes place at the cathedral on Good Friday followed by hot cross buns. Call (023) 9282 3300 for more.
