SHOPPERS jumped at the chance to quiz the editor of The News about their favourite paper.

Mark Waldron spent yesterday speaking to readers at The Meridian Centre, Havant.

The Readers’ Roadshow is a chance for people to say what they enjoy about it and what they would like to see improved.

Anthony and Christine Mayes, from Bedhampton, are avid readers of The News.

Anthony said: ‘I like to read the letters page and my wife never misses Hatched, Matched and Dispatched. She goes straight to it every day.’

Mark was due to be in Portsmouth today from midday until 2pm in the Cascades Shopping Centre, opposite the Pandora store.

The final Readers’ Roadshow is in Fareham at the shopping centre, off West Street in the town centre – Mark will be outside BHS from midday until 2pm tomorrow.
