Eight lucky neighbours in Portchester win People's Postcode Lottery

EIGHT people have bagged £1,000 each in the latest clutch of lottery windfalls as the area basks in a winning spree streak.

The lucky neighbours live in Partridge Close, Portchester, and scooped the money as part of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

It came after their postcode, PO16 8YF, was announced as the daily winner on Saturday.

The win is the fourth to hit the area in just over a week.

Since Friday, January 15, 27 people have each won £1,000 in the daily draws, with streets in Waterlooville, Gosport and Fareham all sharing in the windfalls.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt congratulated all the winners.

She said: ‘A big congrats to all of today’s Daily Prize winners! I hope it brings you all a smile and that you enjoy spending the cash.’

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
