Event being held for Dementia Awareness Day
WITH Sunday, May 21 marking Dementia Awareness Day, a period-themed fair is being in Portsmouth.
At the Mary Rose Manor nursing home in Copnor Road, Portsmouth, a 1950s-themed fair will be held to raise awareness of dementia sufferers in Portsmouth.
Guests are invited to wear period clothing to the event, which will run from 2pm to 5pm, featuring numerous different stalls and a dementia awareness zone.
