CHURCH work from around the world will be celebrated through a photo exhibition.
Portsmouth Cathedral in High Street, Old Portsmouth, is hosting the exhibit called Life in all its Fullness, organised by the Anglican mission agency United Society (US).
The Rev Dr James Grenfell, US director for mission engagement, said: ‘The stunning photographs provide an exciting opportunity to see examples of the work of US around the world.
‘They capture the richness, vibrancy, courage and hope displayed by our many church partners.
‘I hope people in Portsmouth Diocese will enjoy the exhibition, be inspired by the work they see illustrated, and want to become more involved in global mission.’
The exhibition comprises 24 images depicting the mission of the church throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America, including a focus on the church in Ghana, which has a link with Portsmouth Diocese.
The event runs from April 18 to April 30, with an Evensong at 6pm on Sunday, April 19.
