DAREDEVIL fundraiser Jess Ede is bracing herself for the ride of her life on Europe’s longest zipwire.

The 24-year-old, from Waterlooville, is used to taking part in adrenaline-fuelled escapades for a charity close to her heart, Autism Hampshire.

But tomorrow will be her most exciting yet – hurtling at 100mph along a one-mile long zipwire in Snowdonia.

Petrol station worker Jess said: ‘Last year I did an abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, so I suppose I am a bit of a daredevil.

‘This is even more exciting though.

‘I do get a little bit nervous but more than anything I like the thrill of it.’

Jess has raised more than £850 for the charity so far but says she wants to do even more fundraising over the next 12 months because a relative has autism.
