EMERGENCY services will take over a town centre to celebrate 999 day.

Fareham’s shopping area will be full of operational, new and preserved ambulances, police cars, fire engines, coastguard and offshore rescue boats.

Families will be able to view and explore the vehicles, and sit in the driving seat.

There will be live music from band Swinging the Lead and The Sensational Debbie C.

This year will be the fourth consecutive year of Fareham’s 999 day and it will take place in the town centre from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday, October 19.
