First anniversary of Fareham youth theatre

A youth theatre is celebrating its first birthday with a special production this month.

Fareham Musical Society Youth Theatre was launched in 2015 and has so far put on two successful productions.

The 45-strong cast of energetic 8-17 year olds will transport the audience across the years to visit some of the most popular musicals.

These will include Blood Brothers, Evita, Me and My Girl, Wicked, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and many more.

It is directed by the award-winning Stuart Frank with Matt Swann as choreographer and Fiona Morris as musical director.

The show promises ‘to leave you with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.’

The performance will go through the decades, starting with Gilbert and Sullivan and ending with an Enchanted finale.
