A POP star made an appearance at a radio station where he was met by swathes of fans.

Former JLS star Aston Merrygold visited the Wave 105 studio to talk about life after the band and being a judge on Sky1’s dance competition show Got to Dance.

Talking to Wave 105 presenter Andy Jackson, Aston spoke about the difficulties of fronting and working on a television show and the music business.

He also talked about the importance of role models, with Michael Jackson being a key figure to his own success.

Aston then talked fans outside the radio station’s headquarters in Fareham, pictured above, where he was swamped by those who wanted to meet him.
