OLDER people on low incomes can apply for free respite.

The charity NBFA Assisting the Elderly has 100 spaces available on the five-day trip to Eastbourne, on which it will foot the bill for accommodation, coach travel, food and entertainment.

Eligible applicants are 65 years and over, living on £197 and under per week – and have not had a holiday recently.
