MUCH-LOVED broadcaster and entertainer Pam Ayres is heading to Hayling Island.

Pam’s new book tour will hit Hayling Island Community Centre, in Station Road, on October 17.

She will be publicising her new collection of poetry, You Made Me Late Again.

Marie Telford, owner of the Hayling Island Bookshop, organised the event.

She said: ‘We are very fortunate indeed to host a visit by Pam.

‘We heard her speaking last year at a book trade event and she was a joy to listen to.’
