Have your say

THE red carpet will be rolled out and free popcorn will be on offer at a movie premiere.

People from across Wecock Farm are being invited to watch the movie at the Living Waters Church, which is next to the Acorn Centre, in Eagle Avenue.

The film has been produced by the WeBigLocal team, which is co-ordinating the £1m cash injection into the estate.

Over the next few years, a variety of community projects are set to benefit from the lottery funding.

Michelle Wilding, WeBigLocal community development worker, said: ‘We are now starting to write our plan of how we would like to spend our £1m.

‘If you live or work in Wecock Farm, then you are part of WeBigLocal and you get to have your say in what the money should be spent on.

‘We want you to get involved.’

The fun takes place from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday.

There will be free hotdogs, courtesy of Asda, as well as fun activities such as giant skittles, facepainting and Peppa Pig.
