A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been found safe and well almost a week after she went missing.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary launched an appeal for information about Kayla Barr’s whereabouts following her disappearance.

The teenager, from Chichester Road, North End, Portsmouth, was described by police as ‘vulnerable,’ although there was no information to suggest she had been the victim of a crime.

She had last been seen in Chichester Road at about 9.30am last Sunday.

Police raised concerns for Kayla’s welfare as she had not kept in touch with her family.

Officers said she could have made plans to meet and stay with friends in the Portsmouth area.

Police have revealed that Kayla was found yesterday – five days after she first went missing.

They have not revealed where the teenager was found.

However a spokesman for the force said that Kayla is ‘safe and well.’
