All donations will be sent to Cancer Research UK, a charity close to the family’s heart, as Abbie’s grandmother died of the disease in 2008.

Abbie’s hair will also be donated to the Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children who have lost their hair because of cancer.

She decided to donate her hair after seeing a TV advert.
