THE Golden Hind pub in Copnor Road is holding a charity family fun day on Saturday.

The event, which runs from 11am to 11pm, will be held in aid of Help 4 Special Children.

There will be a children’s limbo competition, children’s entertainers, face painting, a visit from a fire engine and a guess the name of the teddy bear contest.

Local businesses and organisations have donated prizes for a mega raffle.

A number of other stalls will be on offer and a disco will be held from 7.30pm.

Children are welcome for the entire day and visitors are asked to wear Hawaii-themed clothing.
