A CHARITY that works to protect animals in the world of entertainment raised nearly £100 in a street collection that was held last month.

Animal Defenders International held a street collection in Gosport on December 23, to raise money for ongoing animal rescue work.

Collector Pauline Dibley raised a total of £94 on the day.

The charity would like to thank people for their generosity.
