A CHRISTMAS grotto with a difference is opening – in a library.

Last year’s grotto at Waterlooville Library was such a success that Father Christmas is heading back next Saturday.

Councillor Marjorie Smallcorn, the mayor of Havant, will open the grotto at 2pm.

David Crichton, the chairman of Waterlooville Community Forum, said: ‘It will be held in the children’s section, with support and considerable practical assistance from the library staff.’

The grotto is themed around the Disney film Frozen. It is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays until December 24 from 2pm to 4pm.

Entry is £2 per child and each child will be given a gift. For more information go to the Community Development in Waterlooville page on Facebook.
