Hair today, gone next month for '˜Mad Max'

A MAN who is being called '˜Mad Max' by his friends is shaving his head for charity '“ with a cut-throat razor.

Max Hughes, 52, will have his head shaved in Gosport on Tuesday, July 4, in support of the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children battling cancer.

Max said: ‘I have a good friend who is a professional barber.

‘He came up with the idea. I asked if the cut-throat razor could be used for the whole thing and he said yes.

‘I picked the charity because I’ve got incredibly long hair – it only made sense to put it to good use.’

Max has already raised £100, but says that any little helps with donations.

He added: ‘I just want to raise as much money as I can for a really great cause.’
