Nikki Hayes, 36, decided to make the video of her children decked out in fluorescent stripes to help keep them entertained after schools closed to reduce the spread of the dangerous disease.

Her three children, Rosie Hayes, 17, along with sister Ruby ,13, and brother Logan, 11, attached glow sticks to their hoodies to create fluorescent skeletal silhouette’s which can be seen performing a choreographed routine in a blacked out background.

‘The children used hoodies and dressing gowns to attach the glow sticks using cello tape.’

The video has been posted on Nikki’s Facebook page to cheer up other users. It’s one of a wide range of social media videos currently being uploaded by families looking to support each other during the coronavirus crisis.

Recent examples have included children baking rainbow cakes, virtual Easter bonnet parades and musical medleys being played to neighbours from residents rooftops.
