As part of the celebration, Alan handed over Union Jack and Cross of St George flags to the Hayling Christian Centre.

Alan said: ‘I really enjoyed my visit and the flags are to represent the community spirit which the church promotes.’

The visit took place during the church’s Vine and Dine cafe event, just one of the initiatives to promote the role of the church in the local community.
