A PUBLIC inquiry over controversial plans for development at a boatyard was postponed.

An appeal hearing was due to take place yesterday in Havant regarding plans to build nine flats at Dolphin Quay, in Queen Street, Emsworth.

Sally Foster, a spokeswoman for Havant Borough Council, said: ‘The postponement is due to the possible need for further environmental impact information.’
